POSITION´S SUMMARY

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of an organization's marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CMO's primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing, using market research, pricing, product marketing and communications, and marketing campaigns.

CMO role also includes new business development, product/services innovation matching market trends and needs profiting from new tecnologies, and customer service.

 

MAIN DUTIES

The Chief Marketing Officer holds overall responsibility for the marketing strategy of the company. Responsible for the achievement of marketing mission, goals and financial objectives. Ensuring that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to the General Management.

Duties of the Chief Marketing Officer

 

Marketing Strategy

  • Creating a clear marketing strategy that encompasses all marketing segments.
  • Developing the company’s mid to long term strategic and annual business plans.
  • Ensure provision of the marketing derivables in the country, in close coordination with Regional and Group Marketing Department.
  • Competitor and market intelligence, market shares and potential, trends and threats monitoring …
  • Keeping up to date with industry and technological changes that impact the business. Ensuring that the organization regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinating and overseeing this activity. Monitor trends and benchmark with competitors.

Marketing operations

  • Distribution support, partner animation (events, brochure), Marketing materials, commercial brochures
  • Developing plans and budgets for the marketing program and its activities.
  • Developing controls, methodologies and procedures for monitoring and improving results aimed at optimizing operations of the area.
  • Overseeing all marketing activities across the full marketing mix.
  • Setting KPI’s for marketing activities across the business.
  • Leading projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events.
  • Streamlining marketing process to realize cost savings across the department.

Lead management

  • Defining and directing marketing campaigns for demand creation, lead generation and interface with sales Director for lead tracking and management.
  • Big Data Mining to fine-tune strategies related with Business development identifying new target customers or segments (geomarketing).

Product management

  • Project management for rolling-out new offer, product training and promotion, product market adaptation
  • Supervise product and service offering, implementing the innovations of the Group, tracking performance and ensuring de relevance and completeness of the range of offers in the various segments.
  • Preparing new product marketing plans for product introductions and coordinating efforts with Finance, Sales, IT, Communications and Technical departments (Risk, Claims, Debt Collection), including product launch management, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support.
  • Assessing new marketing opportunities for generating business towards innovation: labs (new product/service researches, Business Plan, pilot projects)
  • Customer behavior / Customer experience
  • Understand and anticipate changes related with Customer Behaviour/customer experience in order to better match the requested/expected service.
  • Overseeing the company’s loyalty program and CRM activities. Collaborating with all sales networks, providing support for constantly improving performance in new business, retention and efficiency.
  • Big Data Mining to fine-tune strategies related with Customer retention (Churn rates). Ensuring the accuracy of Data, CRM and all marketing software is up to date and fit for purpose, being able to anticipate customer behaviors and set up preventive actions.

People management

  • Managing the team (objectives, project supervision, reporting, fitting of resources).
  • Acting as a lead in training, motivating and coaching staff in order to maximize team efficiency.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Getting actively involved in team´s technical/marketing training for skills development. Ensure follow up of development programs for the staff.

Cross functional activities and Compliance

  • Working closely with other members of the board on company plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by Coface and external regulators.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
  • A bachelor's degree is usually required and an advanced degree in marketing or business (MBA) is preferred.
  • Coursework typically includes operational and strategic marketing, B2B consumer behavior strategies, marketing management and Digital marketing.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Approximately 15 years of well-rounded marketing or business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility- with a focus on marketing expansion- as well as three to five years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven and successful record in in the implementation of segmented customer service, with IT management support.
  • Spanish. And a high level of English.

SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER – MAR REGION

POSITION´S SUMMARY

The Manager role lies at the core of the Sales team and is a key resource in delivering the disciplines and information required to help drive sales perfor-mance, predictability and efficiency. These depend on the consistent execu-tion of our sales methodology, processes, tools and procedures coupled with continuous improvement in reporting, analytics, forecasting and performance metrics. This role is therefore central to developing Sales performance and building a scalable global operation that enables our growth. The Manager will also be in charge of coordinating commercial projects throughout the Region.

 

MAIN DUTIES

Performance analysis

  • Sales performance – define, track and report actual performance against targets and metrics.
  • Develop and deliver key performance metrics, dashboards and reports that enable the Sales leadership team to track, measure and drive per-formance improvement including sales force productivity.
  • Pipeline analysis – tracking pipeline creation, velocity and closure at individual Sales rep, team and regional levels.
  • Forecast analysis – tracking and building insights into the predictability and consistency of our forecast across all regions.
  • Opportunity analysis – tracking key deals against closure plans, provid-ing trends and insight into where we are succeeding and needing to improve.
  • Account analysis – track performance of individual accounts including partners against plan.

Forecasting and review

  • Regional forecast reports produced regularly and validated with each country ready for global Forecast Calls.
  • Attend regular regional forecast calls.
  • Creation of regular global consolidated forecast roll-up for submission to Finance.
  • Maintenance of file structures, templates and on-line repository.
  • Update Forecast Report and supporting files as required following meetings.
  • Create and distribute minutes & actions for regional forecast calls.
  • Work with all Sales reps and management globally to resolve forecast issues and to chase updates.
  • Coordinate regional resources to obtain, validate and consolidate pipe-line data to ensure accurate for forecast reviews and reports.

Reporting

  • Create and distribute weekly regional reporting packs including Fore-cast, Key Deals, Pipeline and Analysis.
  • Prepare drafts for the region to support quarterly business review.
  • Track forecasting, receipt & responses and win/loss reports amongst others.
  • Create ad hoc reports as requested, including Channel Partner Reports, Competitor Analysis, etc
  • Continually enhance reports and process to provide better management visibility of pipeline data and regional performance.

Commercial projects management

  • Project management for rolling-out new offers.
  • Supervise product and service offering, tracking performance and en-suring the relevance and completeness of the range of offers in the various segments.
  • Will be the go-to person for everything involving Group commercial pro-ject’s organization and timeline at a Regional level.
  • Manage Issues and Risks linked to commercial projects: Need to be ready for them and work towards resolving them quickly, so as they don’t take projects off-track. Must figure out beforehand what the risks are and set in place a plan of action if they in fact occur.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience working with sales teams driving pipeline management and reporting pref-erably with a Finance background. A subject matter expert on sales pro-cess and pipeline management principles and administration combined with sound knowledge of sales force automation / CRM tools, superior data analysis and modelling skills. A strong understanding of sales and internal business processes and market trends preferably with experience of working with sales organizations on a global basis.
  • A team player with relevant experience in the sales process, forecasting and reporting arena as well as Finance.
  • Good interpersonal skills and comfortable with working with sales people and senior management teams in a global organization.
  • Able to work under short-term deadlines whilst maintaining detail accuracy and has substantial experience in process implementation and supporting tools.
  • The candidate will be a CRM expert and have experience of automating and scaling Excel spreadsheet-based reports into a set of global manage-ment reports. Examples include Sales Reports (Pipeline Analysis) and Weekly Sales Forecasting Reports.
  • This role would suit someone with a background in medium to large organizations who particularly enjoys the real-time nature of operations coupled with the process and tool development side of the business and thrives in a challenging role.
  • Spanish and a high level of English is a must.
  • Availability to travel.
